A new, unique place of learning about entrepreneurship

Zazida is a focused and specialised institute dedicated to the research and development, through education and training of entrepreneurs. Our approach is based on a rigorous selection process to ensure quality (we limit our intake to 25 students) to assure success. The recent Sunday Times article on Zazida brilliantly summed-up the institute’s philosophy with the headline “This school means business”.

At Zazida, hard work goes hand-in-hand with having FUN! It is not just an institute but a place bursting with passion, innovativeness and excitement, quite different from most educational institutions. Our dynamic team of experienced subject matter experts and educationalists, share the same vision, and aim to provide you with a holistic, practical, learning experience that will prepare you to become the high growth successful entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Our mission is to develop high growth entrepreneurs who in turn will create new jobs and wealth for South Africa. Together we can build a better future for all South Africans.

Vincent Joyner founded Zazida in order to create the hot bed for entrepreneurial development in Africa so as to cultivate the incredible number of undiscovered, unidentified and talented youth on our continent.

Zazida currently proposes the Zazida Accelerator Programme (ZAP)*. ZAP is conducted over several months and this is the programme outlined through-out this current website.

In the near future Zazida will launch several new solutions in the development of entrepreneurship (watch this space for more details):

• Part-time and Full-time Certificate in Entrepreneurship *
  The aim of this one year programme is to prepare potential entrepreneurs to learn basic business skills required for elementary entrepreneurial activity, improve their employability and provide a platform for possible further study.
• Seminars
  The purpose of these exciting seminars is to give participants an opportunity to explore and examine different themes or topics concerning Entrepreneurship in reasonable depth. You will meet and interact with specialised academics and successful and established entrepreneurs during these seminars.

• Research
  Zazida maintains close relationships with and is now starting to conduct research into true entrepreneurs in South Africa. Our focus is to genuinely understand what it takes to succeed locally, adding value and insight into what the students learn at Zazida.
